Summer Break=Break from Life

Can I please swing?

I really want to swing!

I'm waiting!

Yay for the swing!
Well I have taken the whole summer off from blogging! We really had a great 3 months. We had plenty of time to visit family, play, rest, and spend time with just the 3 of us. Joe and I tackled a HUGE project before I started work. We decided to put wood floors in our entire house. It took a whole week and some help from my dad but we are so glad we did it. The house looks awesome and it's nice not to have any carpet to worry about with a little one. Everything feels so clean! Speaking of work, I have a new job this year. My church has a small childcare center and they asked me to be director. I actually accepted the offer back in April but I had to finish the school year and I got to take the summer off before starting work at the end of July. It has been a huge blessing already and I am so thankful I am not teaching. Zoey is about 10 steps away from me all day. She talks about her friends at school all the time. Her favorite is Sophie which she pronounces "Soapie". It's too cute! I get Fridays off to spend the day with my sweet girl. We have officially named Fridays "Girl's Day" at our house. God is good!

Life at 20 months

We're getting too close to 2 years! Someone make it stop! Zoey has grown so much over the summer. Here is what she is doing right now.
-weighs 21 pounds 15 ounces
-currently has an ear infection(which is why I know her weight...a trip to the dr. last week)
-loves to do anything Mommy is doing:cleaning, cooking, brushing her hair, getting dressed, etc.
-also loves to repeat what Mommy says, especially phone conversations!
-has hundreds of words
-can name all her friends at school
-will talk on the phone to Gran and Grandaddy
-loves milk, playing outside, her stroller, and reading books
-can read Brown Bear, Brown Bear with a little help from Mommy
-loves watching Baby Noah and Dora
-has started to have some fits but we are learning to use our words instead of crying
-has to have her purse and blankie to leave the house
Little Bit is certainly a prissy girl. She even gets demanding about what she is going to wear some days. Start praying for us now! You are so much fun sweet Zoey girl!
