Update

So I promise we are still here and doing well. We have just been terribly busy. I know it seems we are all always busy but The McSpaddens have been pulling a seriously crazy schedule the past few months. Our church has a women's conference every year that is the most amazing event we do. I was asked to be in the fashion show for it which meant I have been at church every Sunday from 9am-3pm since the first weekend in Feb. as well as some weekday practices. The conference was this past weekend so one event down, one to go. Joe has his first Atlanta art exhibition this weekend so as soon as I got home from church or work, he headed straight into the studio to paint. You can check it out at fringeatlanta.org. We both knew that God some big things in store for us this year we just didn't know how big and how much we would be stretched. I am thankful for both events but I am going to be really thankful for April 3-SPRING BREAK! Poor Zoey will finally get her momma and her daddy back and hopefully a trip to the beach. I'll post new pics soon!

Spring is here...or at least the weather is this weekend!

This weekend has been so nice! The weather has been about 75 and Zoey has loved playing outside. She and Mavis pushed their strollers around on Thursday and then played at the mall on Friday. Yesterday Zoey went on a shopping trip with Daddy and came home with some prizes...a princess ball and sidewalk chalk. Our biggest news is that Zoey is walking! Just in time to enjoy playing outside. I hope the nice weather is here to stay!

Snow Day

Today is a glorious day at the McSpadden house because we are having a SNOW DAY! I got snow days every year when I taught in Richmond but a snow day in Georgia...now that's a nice surprise. It's super fun for us too because now that Joe is teaching we all have the day off together. The snow actually happened all day yesterday. It was 69 degrees on Saturday and then about half way through church on Sunday it started snowing and didn't stop until about 7 last night. We have had a few cups of hot chocolate and now we are watching it slowly melt away. What a great way to start the month of March!
