Happy Birthday Joe!

Happy 32nd Birthday to mine & Zoey's favorite guy! Joe's bday fell on Friday the 13th this year but there was nothing but fun had at our house. Zoey & I had a party waiting for Joe when he got home from work. She helped me pick out party plates, napkins, hats, & balloons. Her favorite thing to pick out was Daddy's cake-Reese's cup ice cream cake! It was sooo good! After our party of 3 we dropped Z off with Jake & Hannah. Joe & I headed to Stoney River Steakhouse for some more delicious food. Joe has been talking about having steak for his bday for a few weeks & Stoney River does it best. We both cleaned our plates. The waiter surprised us with dessert & we didn't hesitate eating the chocolate cake. It was great to have some time together & I loved showering my man with a great day!

Here is my sweet girl in her fancy Easter dress! The church had rabbits for the kids to hold. Zoey loved it!

Easter 2012

Well I am sad to say that I don't have a pic of Zoey in her gorgeous Easter dress! My parents snapped lots of pics & so did Joe so I didn't even bother. I'll have to post those later. We had a great Easter. Zoey had to be woken up. She was quite tired but we managed to get her up when we told her we had treats. She got a soccer ball, a chocolate bunny, & a crayola color marker for the ipad. We went to church for both services. They were doing an egg hunts during the servicesso Zoey had 2 hunts that morning! She came home with lots of candy for us all. We had lunch at Jake's & then we had a hunt with Mavis & Camille. It was so cute because all the girls could participate this year. OFA Easter Egg Hunt

Last Thursday we had our annual Easter egg hunt at OFA. Zoey was very excited this year! We got all her eggs filled with jelly beans & laid her basket out the night before. When she woke up Thursday morning the first she wanted to do was eat jelly beans! We only buy Starburst jelly beans so I don't blame her. They are so good! We got to school & she had to wait about an hour until the hunt started. The playground is pretty open & flat so there is not really any hiding of the eggs. As soon as her teacher said go, they all took off & started collecting eggs. Zoey wanted to know what was in the eggs before she picked them up! She finally decided she would not get many with that method so she just started grabbing eggs. The class had a party afterwards & each got to eat something from their baskets. This weekend is the church hunt & I have a feeling Zoey will have a game plan!
